What’s a Ruritan?
Since the organization’s beginning in 1928, Ruritan Clubs have served America with Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service. Ruritan is a civic service organization made up of local clubs in urban areas, small towns and rural communities.
Ruritan's purpose is to create a better understanding among people and through volunteer community service, make America's communities better places in which to live and work.
Fellowship, Goodwill & Community Service
Ruritan is a civic service organization made up of local clubs in urban areas, small towns and rural communities right here in Virginia and across the country. Each club surveys its own community as to the needs of that community and then works to meet some of those needs. Nearly all clubs work locally with FFA, 4-H and Boy or Girl Scout troops.
The Hunterdale Ruritan Club will hold its’ 54th annual Beef BBQ on Saturday, May 13th at the Franklin-Southampton Fairgrounds. Serving time is from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Music by Silver Street and Hickory Knoll. Tickets are $30.00. Please contact Murray Turner @ 757-569-8607 or email@example.com for more information.
Nothing from June 28, 2017 to September 27, 2017.
